After a new patch, StarCraft 2 do not start | Date: 7 december 2010 Author: Arnaldo Maggiora Vergano |
It is very nice the Saturn image with music going on, but where is my menù?
Turning on your computer you seem listening
the terran Missile Turret "working". "Nuclear launch detected".
Double click on the SC2 icon. There is a new patch to install. Downloaded,
installed... blocked on Saturn's image with music going on, but no connection
menù appears.
Solution: !!!
Your firewall is blocking internet access to
\blizzarddownloader.exe "Blizzard
Downloader" or \StarCraft II.exe "Blizzard Launcher"
In my case WIndows 7 firewall
was blocking "Blizzard
Downloader"
Here you find step by step instruction (Windows 7):
click "Start"
in the "search bar"
write firewall
click on "Windows firewall"
than "Allow a program or features..."
With your mouse select the program you have to "allow",
in my case "Blizzard
Downloader"
Click on "Chenge settings"
Click on public to let the program access the internet.
I have found 2 "Blizzard
Downloader",
one was
allowed to
access only "home/private"
network and the other
only "public". I have added "public" and the game
started normally.
